In 1999, she moved, with her husband, to Haliburton County. Rose now paints and teaches privately out of her studio. Rose has two young sons, Jake and Ethan.
Rose's work can be found in private collections across Canada, and in Australia, Jamaica, Europe, and the United States.

About the Muskoka Chair
Rose Pearson’s chair is painted with acrylic paint, sand (in the textured areas), and gold fabric paint. The chair has glass beads embedded in the wood with acrylic medium. It is sealed with four coats of exterior polyurethane varnish. Rose spent 65 hours working on the chair. The chair is a vibrant patchwork of pattern with a quirky depiction of the Canadian animals that she has seen in the Haliburton Highlands.
