TVO Series - "Get Involved" aired in APRIL & MAY, 2009

Cottage Dreams Founder Seana O'Neill has been named one of 12 Ontarians to be profiled for a new TVO series called Get Involved. It was featured on TVO 16 times during April and May, 2009. Please check www.getinvolved.ca to view the episode.

Thank you for becoming a Part of Haliburton History

Many have become a part of Haliburton County history by having their name embroidered on the HIGHLANDS HERITAGE DREAM QUILT.

Thank you to all that participated. The completed quilt will become the property of The Agnes Jamieson Gallery in Minden, Ontario for posterity.

This is a project of the Haliburton Highlands Quilt Guild.

The 2008 Cottage Dreams Cottage Classic took place on July 7 at the beautiful Wyndance Golf Club in Uxbridge. It was a beautiful day with all of our players having a great time. All funds raised will benefit the 2009 program to support our goal of placing a record number of families in cottages across the province.

Our sponsors were incredibly supportive, our volunteers amazing and our players were enthusiastic and generous. Many thanks to our Chair Patrick Brigham and all of the committee members who worked so hard to make this a great day. We will be back next year to continue to help families one cottage at a time.
